This course has been specifically designed to provide a combination of theory and hands on practical training.

The day will consist of lectures including:

• Principles of ultrasound and doppler
• How to scan a baby: The basics
• Cranial ultrasound in the preterm born infant
• Cranial ultrasound in the term infant- focus on HIE
• Congenital malformations of the brain

Workshops will include:

• Hands on scanning normal images
• Hands on scanning abnormal images
• Counselling
