A 2-day simulation course utilising a mix of high-fidelity simulation scenarios, skills workshops and supporting talks on human factors and team working within resuscitation.

Skills workshops include:

• Airway skills and mask leak
• UVC
• Chest drain insertion

This is a Neonatal MDT simulation course, where having completed NLS is a pre-requisite.

The course has been designed to meet the educational and professional development needs of:

• Resident doctors working on the Tier 1 rota prior to stepping up to the Tier 2 rota
• Resident doctors returning to training at tier 2 level (SuppoRTT)
• Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
• Neonatal Nurses with QIS training, including those returning to work
